The Beginning

The Garage

PSC didn’t start in some fancy office. It started in Tom and Kim Allen’s garage — a couple Jeeps, some club races, and a whole lot of figuring things out the hard way.

Shot of Tom Allen sitting on a log with a row of jeeps behind him. He is wearing a black hoodie with a blue PSC logo on it and a black hat with a ed and white PSC logo.

Tom's Drive

Tom’s been building steering for over 40 years. After a near-fatal motorcycle wreck, he decided if he was still here, he was going to make it count. He taught himself how to build rack-and-pinion systems, started rebuilding parts in a corner of a warehouse, and eventually took over the entire warehouse — supplying steering for Trans-Am race teams, off-road rigs, and even military vehicles.

Built on Integrity, Led with Experience

Kim helped turn that hustle into a real business. She runs PSC today with a focus on doing things right — not fast, not cheap, just right. She’s raced, she’s led, and she’s built a team where everyone knows they’re part of something that matters.

Inside PSC: A Story of Innovation and Integrity

Jeff & Josh Allen

The Next Generation Driving PSC Forward

Jeff, their oldest son, grew up in the business and now runs the front end. He’s the one making sure ideas turn into real parts, keeping things moving, and staying true to the family’s values.

Josh, the youngest, heads up R&D and flat metal. He tests new ideas on his own vehicles and pushes PSC parts to the limit. If he trusts them with his life, you can too.

The one on the left has grey hair and blue eyes and is in a heathered grey PSC t-shirt holding up a peace sign. The one on the right has darker hair, is smiling and wearing glasses and a vibrant blue fishing shirt with "PSC embroidered" on the right pocket.

Karl & Kelvin

Decades of Dedication, One Mission

Karl was part of PSC in the early 2000s, took a long break, and came back in 2023 as Chief Operating Officer. He’s the one making sure the team’s got what it needs to stay focused and keep things rolling. He’s seen PSC grow from a handful of people packing boxes to a full-scale operation — and he’ll tell you the heart of it hasn’t changed: take care of customers, build parts that work, and don’t cut corners.

Kelvin’s been here since the beginning — back when there were just a few gearboxes and some chickens wandering through the shop. He’s the guy customers call when they need answers, and he’s helped thousands of drivers get the right parts and get back on the trail.

Our Commitment: Quality Over Everything.

We don’t build bargain-bin parts. We build steering that holds up — through hard miles, tough terrain, and real-world abuse. Whether you’re rock crawling, towing heavy, or chasing podiums, every PSC product is tested on real rigs, by people who know what works and what doesn’t.

We’ve come a long way since the garage days, but we still do things the same way: build it right, stand behind it, and treat customers the way we’d want to be treated.

We’re proud of what we’ve built. We’re proud of our team. And we’re proud that when someone chooses PSC, they know they’re getting steering they can count on — not just today, but for the long haul.

Because PSC isn’t just about parts. It’s about solving problems, backing up what we build, and making sure you’ve got steering that works — every time.

Our Team. Our Strength.
