The SG856 gear features a massive 45mm sector shaft and a larger lower support bearing, which all but eliminates side-to-side movement. That means tighter steering, better control, and no need for aftermarket steering braces. Inside, an 80mm piston assembly and 16:1 steering ratio deliver smooth, confident handling with about 3.5 turns lock-to-lock.

Whether you’re towing, off-roading, or just want your truck to feel solid again, this gear’s ready to work.

This gear fits 2009–2024 RAM 2500/3500 2WD & 4WD trucks without LaneSense Lane Departure Warning. If your truck has LaneSense, this gear won’t work—double-check before ordering. It bolts up to factory high-pressure and return lines and works with both OEM and aftermarket pitman arms.
