These are PSC BIG BORE XD® Steering Gears (SG856) for 2009–2024 RAM 2500 and 3500 trucks, offered as PSC Certified Refurbished units.

Each unit has been inspected, rebuilt where needed, and tested to meet our performance standards. They may show minor cosmetic wear from prior use or handling, but they are fully functional and built to perform the same as our standard units.

"PSC completely took care of me. They paid the shop who did the work in full for the extra labor to install the new box. Not to mention sent the new box for free and very fast. Kelvin was an excellent help in the situation and I will be recommending PSC to anyone who wants to listen. My Ram drives and feels better than when it was new. Couldn’t be happier with my experience and the product. Definitely worth the money. I would delete my first review but can’t figure out how."

PLEASE READ BEFORE BUYING! BUYERS BEWARE

"I bought this for my 2013 Ram 2500. In February. It showed up relatively fast so that was nice. I had a very reputable shop in my area do the install because my truck was already in there getting front end work done. Shop installed it and followed instructions perfectly and even called PSC to confirm the steps he was following were correct. I get the truck back and drove it for a week and it was horrible, steering would pulse and at full lock it would feel like it was binding. I also noticed it looked like the box was seeping fluid out. I brought it back to the shop and the mechanic noticed that the box was leaking from the seal on top of box. Also noted that the box was in fact binding. I called PSC and they sent a box right away. The new box was installed and truck drives great. Here’s where PSC completely drops the ball and honestly probably lost a customer. My mechanic submitted a labor claim so I didn’t have to pay twice to get a part installed that was faulty from the factory, PSC has said they will not be paying it cause “They don’t pay labor claims” when it is completely their fault that the first box was faulty. I have honestly never left a bad review for a product so this is a first for me. I will be spreading the word about how PSC treats their customers that spend over $1000 for a part."

best upgrade for that steering wander

"ĺ🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 After upgrading every steering component that dreaded steering wander still persists only after adding this big bore box the steering wander has finally subdued it got rid of that torque steering when hitting bumps or when the roads are flooded it would pull hard I also recommend to replace the steering wheel intermediate linkage to the heavy duty borgeson design it will best complement the new big bore box its nice that the big bore gets rid of the steering slop but without upgrading the intermediate shaft youll still have a slight side to side play in the steering very slight but noticeable with the borgeson upgraded intermediate shaft it gets rid of any and all slack completely I installed the big bore at home instructions were easy to comprehend and had no issues installing the unit by myself whatsoever the top notch quality and well packaged big bore shipped very fast especially to hawaii and im very pleased this product exists ive put about 40k miles on the new big bore unit and its still holding up strong feels tight from the first day it was installed absolutely zero play on 12. 5x35 -14offset you've a customer for life mahalo nui loa PSC!!! 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 👍"
